Whiteoak Canyon – Wet, Wild and Wonderful!

After a sunny first afternoon at Shenandoah’s Big Meadows, a cold front moved through central Virginia accompanied by heavy rains and gusty winds.   Awakening the next morning to a misty rain and heavy fog, it seemed like the perfect day for my destination hike on this trip, Whiteoak Canyon.   Read more
